The HoneyBeNatural Institute of Liberation & Wellness is a holistic wellness studio and educational sanctuary committed to nurturing self-care, healing, and personal transformation. Rooted in a deep respect for cultural heritage, ancestral wisdom, and liberation-centered approaches, the Institute integrates a wide range of wellness modalities to support individuals and practitioners alike
Key Components:
Holistic Studio Offerings: A serene and intimate space offering personalized programs, movement classes (such as Kemetic yoga, aerial arts, Pilates, and pole flow), therapeutic workshops, and wellness consultations.
Institute & Certification: The Institute serves as the educational arm, offering certification programs grounded in Rooted Function Theory™ (RFT)—a trauma-informed, culturally aware, and spiritually respectful framework emphasizing healing through functional awareness rather than pathology.
Ethical & Liberation-Focused Framework: The RFT-based curriculum and practice uphold core values such as:
Viewing client patterns as adaptive, not faulty.
Upholding cultural and spiritual integrity, with trauma-informed practices and honoring ancestral traditions.
Encouraging client autonomy and healing through self-advocacy rather than dependency.
Aligning with social justice and community reciprocity, with graduates engaging in advocacy, volunteerism, and wellbeing outreach.
Holistic Brand Ecosystem: The Institute is part of a broader wellness ecosystem including:
HoneyBeWell: Workshops and community gatherings.
HoneyBeLite: A movement studio offering Body Alchemi classes and other embodied practices.
AloeCurves: A plant‑based feminism‑focused skincare and feminine care line.
Additionally, they offer apothecary products like herbal teas, cleanses, and handcrafted goods.
Leadership: The founder, I’sha Gaines, is a holistic therapist (M.Ed., LPC, currently a Doctor of Functional Medicine student), herbalist, clinical hypnotherapist, esthetician, and certified Kemetic Yoga teacher. She guides the Institute’s vision toward healing, spiritual alignment, and embodied liberation
